National Register of Donated Items

Introduction

The purpose of this Register is to properly record, and maintain, a list of all items donated to the Sir Henry Royce Foundation, Australia (SHRFA). It provides for donors names to be recorded and each item numbered, identified, described, categorised and valued.

As it is most likely that the majority of items will originated from members of Branches of the Rolls-Royce Owners' Club of Australia (RROCA) it is appropriate that a Branch Register be established, and maintained, by a Member of the SHRFA Advisory Committee attached to each Branch of the RROCA and that such Registers be capable of being combined into a National Register which identifies the Branch at which the item is located or originated.

The attached National Register has been compiled using Microsoft Excel database which has numerous advantages for this type of application, including ability to merge, sort and search.

Every item will bear a unique Accession Number which will consist of the Branch Code Letter followed by a chronological Item Number assigned by that Branch for each and every item donated to the SHRFA.
